As you know, in Flashpoint reality, Thomas Wayne – Bruce Wayne/Batman’s father did not die that fateful night in the alley, but the person who died was Bruce.
However, The Button event revealed that this reality still exists: Thomas Wayne is still alive, and the war between Themyscira and Atlantis continues.
And recently, like Thomas, Marvel revealed that Howard Stark will become the enemy of his (adopted) son Tony Stark in the near future.
In the recently released Avengers #31, we learned that Iron Man Tony Stark is still managing his new life after returning to the past 1 million years BC.
During a conversation with Tony, Mephisto transformed into Howard Stark, which reminded Tony of a childhood memory, when Howard was… THE HEAD OF A SATAN WORSHIPING CULT OF RICH PEOPLE!!!
With the Time Stone, Mephisto brought Tony back to the present, not forgetting to spread a series of horror scenarios, including Captain America injecting a serum into his eyes or Captain Marvel’s flesh melting from her face.
After returning to the present, Iron Man angrily confronted Mephisto in the place where he was being held, Hotel Inferno, and swore that he would never listen to his enticements.
With the return of the `real` Howard Stark, we now have two versions of Howard Stark coexisting in the Marvel universe.
