Campaigns announcing a halt to the use of fur materials from major brands Gucci, Armani, Michael Kors and Versace lead to consideration of whether feathers would be a better choice or not?

Some designers have brought the feather trend in collections launched earlier this year such as Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, or Berta Balilti.

Associate Director of Campaigns at PETA – Ashley Byrne emphasized that “Feathers and fur are unnecessary and cruel, and their use is not more humane.”
