Hand-embroidered by Montex & Lesage: Pearls, chains, and precious stones combine with metal details to form flower petals embroidered with gold thread to decorate the lapel, hem, and cuffs as well.
Lemarié’s feather and flower embroidery technique: The meticulous floral motifs are made from 4 different types of feathers (ostrich feathers, goose feathers, peacock feathers and rooster feathers) that take 211 hours to complete.
The typical star-winged Edelweiss edelweiss flowers of the Tyrolean region, symbolizing purity and love, were woven by the Lemarié family from wool velvet fabric and beaded, then embroidered on the pleated fabric strips that form the dress neckline as well.
